We are excited to share that two popular Mono Lake webcams have been upgraded with high-definition livestreaming cameras. The new Lee Vining and Mill Creek cameras are now live, providing much clearer views of the Mono Basin with more dependable uptime. Both views can also be enjoyed in fullscreen, so you’ll feel closer than ever to Mono Lake. The new Mono Lake camera at the Scenic Area Visitor Center will be installed in the fall.

Additionally, you can now enjoy daily timelapse videos from each location to watch the beautiful and ever-changing weather and light moving across the Mono Basin. To view the previous day’s timelapse on a computer, hover your cursor over the live video feed and click the calendar icon on the lower right. If you’re using a phone, simply tap the live video feed and then tap the calendar icon at the bottom. You can adjust the speed of the timelapse video by using the controls at the bottom of the video player.
You can also get a glimpse of the previous three hours at each location by viewing the image history below the live video feed. Click on any image to open a gallery view to flip through the most recent photos.
