This month we welcomed the art of Robin Chandler and Irene Reti into the Mono Lake Committee gallery. This show, Passion for Landscape, showcases an eclectic collection of paintings and photography of the Eastern Sierra.
Robin’s paintings have been awarded by Yosemite Renaissance, a non-profit that promotes the arts in Yosemite National Park, encouraging the public to preserve our wild lands and natural treasures through art. Her paintings are featured alongside Irene’s photographs, which have also earned acclaim from Yosemite Renaissance and been published in a variety publications.
This show will be on display through July—we hope you’ll stop in to see it when you find yourself in Lee Vining.
An artist’s reception will be held on Saturday, June 22, 4:00–6:00pm in the Mono Lake Committee gallery. This free event is a great opportunity to meet both artists and enjoy some refreshments while taking in the art. We hope to see you there!
