Walk, run, cycle: Tioga Pass Run & High Sierra Fall Century coming up

Saturday, September 11th is the High Sierra Fall Century, and Sunday, September 12th is the Tioga Pass Run … why do I have this sneaking suspicion we’ll be seeing some Mono Lake enthusiasts out for both events?

What better way to celebrate Mono Lake than to enjoy its beauty while doing what you love? Well, that’s why.

High Sierra Fall Century
The Mono Lake Committee will be hosting the Mono Craters rest stop in the Jeffrey pine forest on Hwy 120 east for the Century. The Committee likes to keep in touch with the Bike-A-Thon spirit by supporting riders on this great course, and proceeds from the ride go to the Sierra Cycling Foundation. The 30th Annual Tioga Pass Run
You will find Mono Lake staff, volunteers, and even board members along the 12.4 mile course (only one hill!) that starts at the Mono Lake Committee Information Center & Bookstore and finishes at Tioga Pass. Sign up to walk (7:00am start) or run (8:00am start), and join us for a great even in memory of Ferdinand Castillo and in support of the Mono Lake Committee.
