Earth Day is a global event and the community of Lee Vining is coming together to act locally here by the shore of Mono Lake on Thursday, April 22 at the Hess Park Solar Pavilion. Staff and volunteers from the Mono Lake Committee, 350 Mono Climate Action, and California State Parks will be hosting to make sure everyone is masked and social distancing. Join us for a variety of fun events:

Mono Basin trash clean up – 9:00am–1:00pm
Electric vehicle display – 10:00am–12:00noon
Upcycled art show & kids’ activities – 9:00am–2:00pm
Preschool & Lee Vining Elementary Pavilion displays – 9:00am–2:00pm
Lee Vining Library book sale – 9:00am–2:00pm
Community garden open to visitors – 9:00am–2:00pm
