Sunrise light on a grove of tufa towers emerging from the water of Mono Lake with soft green and dusty-red wild grasses in the foreground, Canada geese in the shallow water with reflections of the rocky towers, and desert hills in the distance.

  1. My wife and I were in Yosemite on Sunday. We were surprised to find it open, so enjoyed the day with snow falling several times, at one point heavy near Tuolumne Meadows, at various places. Upon our return to Crane Flat, the eastbound “Closed” barricade was up.

    Fun month!

My wife was happy to be in snowfall, three days before her birthday! Couldn’t have imagined that back in January.
