As we embark on a much-needed holiday weekend, I sincerely hope you will join us in celebrating photographer Sarah Attar’s show, “Sierra Study: Observations in the Range of Light,” at a reception in the Mono Lake Committee gallery this upcoming Friday, July 3, 4:00–6:00pm.
Sarah Attar, an Eastern Sierra-based photographer, as well as former Olympic athlete, centers her work around the landscape and people of the Eastern Sierra. This show has captivated folks visiting the bookstore since it was first put up in April. Sarah’s ability to capture the depth of the Eastern Sierra in such a candid and immersive way inspires me and is not to be missed! I know that I am looking forward to the opportunity to ask her more about her work.
We will be holding a free reception in the Mono Lake Committee gallery on Friday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. We invite you to stop by, meet Sarah, view her incredible work, and enjoy some wine and refreshments. Sarah’s work will only be up through the month of July, so I hope to see you there!
