After a brief closure due to snow, Tioga Pass re-opened on Friday, October 11 around 11:30am. This is the time of year when the road can open and close frequently due to storms—always check road conditions before you travel. Please keep in mind that while the road is open to through traffic, Yosemite National Park is still closed to recreation due to the government shutdown.
