Double your gift for Mono Lake with a match!
Join the Mono Lake Committee and get a mask.

Members are the heart and engine of the Mono Lake Committee, and while we did everything we could safely do with our pop-up outdoor information station and virtual tours, without the summer full of helping visitors learn about Mono Lake on a South Tufa tour, bird walk, in the bookstore, or paddling on the lake, our membership numbers have come up short.

So, we’re asking a little more of our members here at the end of the year and hoping we can inspire some new folks to join too. Members—will you make an extra donation? And if you’re not yet a member—will you join us?

We have an anonymous donor matching all funds raised, dollar for dollar, up to $15,000, now through Giving Tuesday (December 1). That means every donation goes twice as far for protection, restoration, education, and scientific research programs for Mono Lake. And for new members we’re offering our beautiful and comfortable Mono Lake mask in hopes we can get people to the make the leap to join the Committee.

For Giving Tuesday itself, we’re going to bring a little bit of Mono Lake magic to you—tune in at 6:30am Pacific on December 1 for our annual Facebook live stream of sunrise from the shore of Mono Lake.

Double your donation or join the Mono Lake Committee through Giving Tuesday.
